Oofos sent me a pair of thier Black Slide Shoes for review! It's no secret I have a shoe addiction. Sandals, specifically flip flops, are my go to shoe for one simple reason; comfort. I own 18 pairs of shoes in my size, currently, and 9/10 days I will leave the house in flip flops. OOFOS footwear is made of a proprietary EVA material that absorbs up to 37% more shock than the average EVA footwear. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to tell you that less shock (to your bones/muscles/system) is going to equal less strain- and less pain. When your body absorbs less of the impact of each step your muscles and joints will naturally 'bounce back' quicker, cutting fatigue, and rejuvenating your feet. Armed with this information, the initially stiff and thick OOFOS blueprint seems much more inviting. I'll admit, the fact these shoes were very gender ambiguous both excited me, and turned me off at first. Not only do my partner and I wear the same size shoe (respectively in male vs. female sizes), but I'm always looking for mine. I tend to flick my shoes off everywhere, and never can seem to find them when I simply need to run out to the car, or to the store. Having a pair of shoes we can both get away with wearing is a plus; and OOFOS come in an array of vibrant colors for those looking for a more feminine touch.
OOFOS has offered to give one lucky winner thier very own pair!
