Kukikids.com Review & Giveaway Ends July 17CLOSED
I got this bib in the mail today! We had to sign in order to get it, because It's all the way from Hong Kong!
This bib is is super soft! I have never had a bib that is so soft before! My daughter is a little bit too old for a bib, but it's still a good thing to have! 100% cotton double layer interlock fabric in fab Kuki patterns make these bibs a stand out! I love the Jersey style bib! This bib is super soft, and extra bendable!! Also – your mom will be happy because the velcro that holds it on is strong enough to stop you pulling it off (well, most of the time!).
This bib is $19.90 on thier website!
Kuki Kids is giving away another one of these Jersey Bibs!

Worry Woo's Review & Giveaway~Ends July 10!CLOSED
We received 3 worry woo's, and thier books today!! We got, Nola, the monster of lonliness, Squrrk, the monster of innosence, and Rue, the monster of insecurity. Worry Woo's also have Fuddle, the monster of confusion, his storybook will be out soon in 2010! And Twitch and Winch will be new in 2010 also!
Nola is a green little Worry Woo who can't see beyond herself and her depression to see that there are friends around who care about her.
The WorryWoo Monsters, a series by Andi Green, was first seen in a New York City art exhibition in 2001. Originally called The Monsters in My Head, Green wanted to create characters with a story that each embodied an emotion. Using her design and illustration background she built 5 light boxes, 24”X36” in size, each containing a monster with its story Xerox-transferred to the front of the box. From loneliness to confusion, she began tackling complicated feelings and transformed them into quirky, loveable characters. Her message of “embrace your emotions” received such a positive response, she was asked by many if she ever considered turning her single art pieces into storybooks. In 2002 she began to expand her concept, but it wasn’t until 2007 that she decided to publish and produce her new collection.
Me and my daughter both love these cute little characters! We love that they are different, and funny looking! They're really cute!! We love that they each come with thier own books too! It's always fun to hear the stories behind each animal! My daughter has been taking her worry woo's around with her everywhere we go, even in stores! She shows everyone she meets, and she insists they introduce themselves to her worry woos!
My daughter loves showing off her worry woo's and showing her new friends around her world!
I would suggest worry woos to anybody! Nobody is immune to thier cuteness and cuddliness!!
I think every kid eventually hits some days like that, and Nola reminds them, that they have to take the time to look around and outside of themselves. Frequently when we're feeling lonely, our loneliness is actually locking us away from the very people who would help us push the loneliness away.
Although the illustrations are not quite as refined as I would have hoped at times, they still have a certain endearing quality to them. It looks as though the illustrations were done in pen and ink with a watercolor wash on either Japanese rice paper or tissue paper. The resulting wrinkles are a bit distracting for me, although I'm sure for someone else, they will be part of the character of the illustrations.
The rhyming structure in this little story is solid, and flows easily when read aloud. Which is a huge issue for me with children's stories. Dr. Seuss sure made it seem easy, didn't he? So many stories nowadays have terrible rhymes.
I think The Lonely Little Monster will delight your children and hopefully spur conversations between the two of you, when they are feeling a little lonely and blue. Then, if they are looking for their own little Worry Woo to cuddle up with on a rainy day, Nola is absolutely adorable as a plush. I have mine sitting at my desk to give me a smile on those challenging afternoons.
Worry Woo's is giving away one of worry woo's, along with thier books, to one lucky reader!!
